Nanyang Venture Formula (NVF) Racing is Nanyang Technological University’s Formula Student team. I joined NVF in 2023.

My primary task at NVF was to help design the NVF-2 racecar chassis, which had to fully comply with Formula Student UK rules.

Subsequently, I worked on other design and fabrication tasks for the car. This included designing and fabricating brackets for the body panels, making carbon fiber composite panels, designing and 3D printing a duct, and designing the nose cone.

For the chassis, I used topology optimization to find optimal locations of structural members to maximize the stiffness-to-weight ratio. We used ANSYS Mechanical and SOLIDWORKS simulation to validate the designs.
